Who is Curtis D. King, MDiv., MS., LCPC?

An experienced Elder with a demonstrated history of working in the religious institutions’ industry. Trained at Southern Methodist University and Perkins School of Theology, he served in the pastorate for twenty-eight years in urban and rural communities. Later, he was trained at Loyola University, Maryland, with a Master of Science in Pastoral Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

He is skilled in depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorder therapy, including Pastoral Counseling, Pastoral Care, and Psychotherapy. He is strong in connecting with the community and social services. He is professional, utilizing and applying professional and faith-based knowledge, training, and skill sets previously learned. His unique orientation towards delivering integrated behavioral healthcare skills that serves a diverse population in need of healing. Previously employed at Adventist Behavioral Healthcare and now a staff provider with AbsoluteCare, Baltimore. He is a Doctor of Behavioral Health candidate at Cummings Graduate Institute for Behavioral Health Studies.
